Community Supported Wellbeing
Program

We recognize the importance of community care and it takes all of us to care for community..

The Community Supported Wellbeing Program is our way of supporting those experiencing barriers to financial access with free and low cost events and services.

 

There are several ways to participate in this program:

01.

Become a Member

Choose from any plan and contribute to a community of folks who want to see CONNECT grow and thrive. Members benefit from a variety of perks.

02.

Attend a fundraiser class or event

Attend a fundraising/CSW event, where all proceed go directly to the CSW fund, which supports keeping our doors open and providing free and low-cost events and services to community members in need. CSW events include the Queer Song Circle, Queer Creatives Co-Working, Silent Reading Group, Poetry Circle and the CONNECT Creatives Open Mic.

03.

Give a Gift

By giving a direct gift to the CSW Program, you are directly supporting the program and contributing to a fellow community members' wellbeing.

Membership Policies

Rates

All purchases of services (classes, workshops, events) are non-refundable.

 

Purchases of products are only refundable in new and unused condition up to 30 days after purchase.

 

All students, except for drop-in students, must have a unique online account associated with a unique email address. Friends and family members may not share the same email address. 

 

Because CONNECT’s community-supported membership model requires community support, no additional discounts will be given.

 

Prices may increase from time to time to reflect increases in cost and benefits.

 

Terms, Conditions, and Fees are subject to change without prior notification, however, we value transparent communication and will make an effort to notify all members and students of any changes by email.

Events

Every effort is made to hold events on time. The schedule is subject to change without prior notice. Please check the online schedule for the most up-to-date schedule. CONNECT is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for events that are late or changed. Fees for canceled events would be refunded.

 

Please arrive at least ten minutes before the start of your event.

 

Please check in at reception before each event.

 

Payment must be made upon booking. No students will be permitted to sign-up for an event or workshop as unpaid unless it is a free or donation based class. 

 

Please reserve your spot in your event at least 2 hours before the start time.

 

Although we take every precaution to host a safe and secure environment, CONNECT is not responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings. 

 

The front doors will be locked 10 minutes into every class. For safety reasons, no one 10 or more minutes late for class is permitted entry and leaving class early is strongly discouraged. Please inform your instructor if you need to leave class early for any reason.

 

You agree to engage with the space within the limits of what is supportive to your physical health. It is the responsibility of the student to notify teachers of any previous injury, illness, or conditions that may impact their practice.

 

Event at CONNECT may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death.

 

You agree to follow all safety guidelines instructed by the CONNECT practitioners, and acknowledge that any failure to do so will be at your own risk and may cause injury. 

 

In attending classes at CONNECT, you agree that neither you, your heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against CONNECT for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

 

CONNECT reserves the right to refuse entry.

 

By booking into an event or purchasing any membership, you automatically agree to the above terms & conditions.

 

Movement Classes

 

Gear to bring: mat, towel, and water bottle and any other props you need to feel comfortable.  If you do not have a mat, blocks, bolster or blanket, we have some to lend you. You can fill your own water bottle for free from our filtered cooler.

 

No shoes are allowed in the community studio space.

 

Please keep cellphones in the shoe storage area.

 

Please review Community Agreements in advance.

 

EVENT CANCELLATIONS & BOOKING ETIQUETTE

If you do not show up for an event, you will still be charged for it.

 

Workshop and event cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the start of the reserved workshop or event. If you do not attend or cancel within 24 hours of start time, you will be fully charged for the workshop and will not be able to apply the funds to a future workshop unless otherwise specified by the hosting practitioner.

 

Workshops, events and trainings are non-refundable. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact the management.

Monthly Auto-Renew Memberships

 

Monthly auto-renews cannot be shared.

 

You will be charged the amount of your membership on the same day of each month for your auto-renew.

 

Membership fees will automatically be charged to your credit card.

 

You can update or change your credit card in your online account or in studio.

 

Auto-renews can be suspended. Pause requests must be made in writing by emailing connectcommunitycenter@gmail.com. Please allow 48 hours to process the request. Memberships can be resumed again upon written request.

 

Your auto-renew can be canceled at any time in writing by emailing connectcommunitycenter@gmail.com. If you cancel, you may lose your existing rate. Please allow 48 hours to receive and process your cancellation request.

 

If your monthly auto-payment fails for any reason, you will be notified to remedy the auto-pay. If you fail to do so, then your membership may be canceled and/or you may be assessed a fee. It is your responsibility to ensure that your auto-pay method maintains a sufficient balance to cover the payment.

 

CONNECT is not responsible for additional bank fees that you may incur from your bank. Bank fees are under the terms and conditions of contractual agreements that lie between you and your bank.

 

If auto-debit payments fail for 2 payments or more, CONNECT may cancel the membership.

 

We reserve the right to cancel memberships. 

 

 

GIFT CARDS 

 

Gift cards can be redeemed for classes, workshops, programs, memberships, and/or retail purchases.

 

Gift cards can be purchased and sent electronically through our online store or in-studio.

 

Gift cards are non refundable and not redeemable for cash.

Google: If you provided us with your first name, last name, e-mail address, and phone number by filling out the contact us form on our website, your information is collected and stored on CONNECT’s GoogleDrive on Google. Click here for Google’s Privacy Policy.

 

Your full name, postal address, cell phone, email address, emergency contact name and phone number, and date of birth, provided by you when registering to schedule and purchase classes at CONNECT through Wix.

 

This information is stored on Wix. It is used as a way to contact you about account issues and promotions, and as a means of providing safe service to you. Click here for Wix’s privacy policy.

 

Your Information can be accessed by CONNECT management & approved practitioners.

Wix will maintain a credit card on file for auto-renews on memberships. CONNECT does not store credit card information.

If you subscribe for the monthly auto-renew you will be asked to give consent to store your credit card information for future billing. Should you ever cancel your auto-renew, you can email connectcommunitycenter@gmail.com to delete your stored information.

 

All such information is strictly protected and used only for delivering the content and products the user has signed up for or purchased. This information is never used for other purposes and is never shared with 3rd parties for their own use. This data can be deleted at the request of the consumer as long as it is in compliance with the signed contract.

 

Processors/Vendors Used Who Collect Information:

 

CONNECT management, www.connectforwellbeing.com, uses some processors/vendors to run as a business. These include:

 

1.    Wix to create accounts, schedule classes, make purchases, and collect automatic payments. Wix uses the Stripe payment processor to process your payments.

 

www.connecforwellbeing.com does not share your information with these processors/vendors. Information will only be provided to these processors by YOU in order to sign-up at these sites. The information collected by these processors is stored by them. Click the links to be taken to the privacy policies of the associated processors.

As a consumer of products and services offered by CONNECT and www.connectforwellbeing.com, you have the right of:
