Social Dreaming

Using a technique of art therapy passed down from the late Carol Lark and Shelly Goebl Parker and taking after the work of Carl Jung, social dreaming entails deep breathwork, guided meditation and an openness to go on a journey into the dream realm. The experience will explore how we as a community can dream together, how dreams can offer insight into the limits of our reality and the power of symbolism as revealed in collective dreamwork. Following meditation, participants will be offered art materials to make art either individually or in small groups about their collective dream. Participants are invited to discuss their artwork as an option with the group or individually with the art therapist and a short ritual will close the practice.
